What shapes your identity? How can you express your image through art?
This resource was developed by Stephanie Seding, art teacher and gifted and talented co-ordinator at St Marylebone CE School, in association with the Victoria and Albert Museum.
It is designed to help key stage 3 art students understand and express the themes of image and identity, making connections with themselves and other artists' work.
Image and Identity takes students through two pathways. The first encourages them to explore art work using specially designed multimedia-enriched web tools. The second allows them to create a piece of artwork in response to investigations into their own identity using an image creation and manipulation tool.
